waste information board with information on how much waste throw away teaching at a school

Teachers

In Suffolk we are proud of how well we perform when it comes to recycling and thanks to the good people of Suffolk we currently recycle nearly half of all the rubbish we produce, which includes waste collected from schools.

As well as recycling, there is so much more that schools can do to reduce and re-use and include the 4Rs in school life. From taking advantage of our lesson plans, reducing waste in school or planning a visit for your class to our recycling and recovery sites to see how it all happens first hand.

Hopefully you’ll find all the information you need on these pages with lots of helpful links and resources to get the reduce, re-use and recycle message across to your students and don’t forget to send us your photographs and comments!
